Here’s the first 4 chapters of Supermundane Adaption for you to proofread, critique and whatever else you can think of that will improve the novel…

The process of beta reading involves answering questions at the end of each chapter…

The questions you’ll be asked are…

1 What is your overall opinion of this chapter… Did you like it, hate it, was it interesting? If it was boring did you put it down at one point and not pick it back up for a while? Where was that place?

2 What did you think of the characters? 

3 Was there anything you found confusing? From story to specific sentences.

4 Were there certain parts you don’t think were necessary…or should be left until later?

5 Were there parts you thought should have been added?

6 Was anything lacking in substance… characters, story, descriptions etc.? Anything you’re asking ‘why’ to? Anything you can’t understand the motives of? Are you thinking she’s stupid for not doing something or for doing something or do you understand her reasoning/ motivations for her actions?

7 Do you have any predictions for the future chapters?

8 Are you interested to know what happens next? 

9 If there’s any extra constructive criticism or anything at all you can think of (even down to the not so constructive ‘I just don’t like it’) to feedback to me then please let me know; don’t hold back!

10 If you spot the odd spelling or grammar mistake here and there, I would appreciate it if you could tell me by letting me know what chapter and what page it’s on.
